You could try this temporary fix in case you're having graphical problems while the new update is released:
1) Download this file :
http://svn.drdteam.org/zdoom-mac/zdoom r3401.dmg
and install it (open .dmg and copy ZDoom to applications folder.
2) Create a folder called "ZDoom" under your Documents folder.
3) Go to Strife in your Applications folder, right click and select "Show Package Contents". Then navigate to Contents -> MacOS
4) copy the files "STRIFE1.WAD" and "VOICES.WAD" to Documents/ZDoom folder you created earlier
5) Run ZDoom
Blasphemer is metal-inspired dark fantasy game. Fight your way through hoards of magical beasts, wield a powerful magical arsenal against the dark world creatures invading the one time peaceful lands.
As if from a troubled sleep you awaken in darkness, total and encompassing,
and as you struggle, you feel stone above your head, a slab that gives way
with a strong push to allow faint light to filter down on you. The air is
rank, putrid almost, and as you rise and inspect your surroundings, you see
that you are in what appears to be a burial chamber. Your tomb, you realize
with a start, wondering fuzzily how you got here as your eyes scan the
surroundings. The structure seems ancient, worn as if by centuries.

But in this world, actions actually have consequences, so take care. Annoying the powerful and aggressive Legion of Fear faction will cause them to declare war and destroy you. Ignored Orc uprisings in the Black Forest will cause even more trouble. Protect ally covenants that are being raided, because friends are hard to come by.
